Prairie Rose Arena is available for one-day or multiple-day events.  Scheduled rentals available for regular practice groups wanting to do barrel racing, mounted shooting, team roping, dog agility – any discipline that requires reliable footing and shelter from the elements.

Modern restrooms and water on-site.  PA system with two wireless mics and wireless headset included in rental.  Tractor & arena drag on-site and included in base rental for most events. Game, jumping,  & trail equipment provided.  Timer and cow-trac rental available.

Indoor horse ties along 250′ alley.

Pens for use during events  (42 total) are $20/night.  Day use during events $10.   Tie-outs and portapens are not allowed unless all pens are filled.  Cattle pens may also be available for horses depending on season.  Electric hook-ups $25/night (10 available).  Primitive camping $15/night.

Private groups: $10/horse with a $50 minimum weekdays during the day, $120 minimum weekends and evenings (two hour time slot).  Use of trail, jumping,  & game equipment included.  Scoop your own poop! 

Shows/competitions: $250/day plus $10/horse.  Clinics $500/weekend day, $300/week day.  Includes use of trail and game equipment, PA system with two wireless mics and wireless headset.

All out-of-state horses must have current negative Coggins, and all horses on the premises should have current vaccinations. 

PARKING

Trailer parking is on gravel and in the hayfield north and south of the building.  In very wet weather there may be squishy spots. Avoid areas of tall vegetation and standing water.

Gravel drive circles the building and is wide enough that trailers can park and still leave access for others.

HORSE MOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Just 5 miles off of I-35 and 7 miles from I-80 (all on pavement), travelers with horses will find us conveniently located.  $30/night trailer hookup (30 amp), $15/night primitive camping, $25/night covered pens. Bedding in pens is optional. Water on-site. Access to arena can be arranged

Current negative Coggins required for out-of-state horses, and all horses must have current vaccinations.
